Whee~ Going back to Indo tomorrow!
This time, with an additional person! Nini!

It's gonna be my first plane ride with Ni Yi. Hahahaha. Feeling a little excited :)

Not sure if I'll get data, but I guess I will somehow, on my phone at least. Not sure if anyone reads my blog, but you, you, you who's reading, thank you. Haha.

Hope it won't be too boring during this trip D:
And sigh, I lost a job opportunity because my mum asks me not to work and go home. But I guess to make up for it, I get to spend the next one week plus with Ni Yi la. Hahahaha. And hopefully my mum and other relatives as well.

Ciaos everybody~

Went for lockdown.sg @ The Central yesterday with da galz last night!
I honestly don't know what's the craze about this escape room thing :/ It was cool to play together la. But the idea of piecing REALLY random clues without any link to the storyline is quite................... :/ That aside, I did have fun with them! And Hui Qi is really good at figuring the clues :D Hahaha. I'm pretty useless :x We're thinking of going to another one for our next outing! A more challenging one. Hope it'll be even more fun!

Haha they actually have phototaking services :D

Then we had this very nice ramen for dinner! At Marutama Ramen it is. First time eating ramen in chicken-broth and it was good. Haha also my first time eating a non-spicy ramen (I think). Usually I'll add chilli if the ramen is non-spicy. But cuz I just recovered, I decided to avoid spicy food la.

Wheeee~ I'm really happy that my stomach has almost recovered already! :D

I've got quite a bit to share. Hope I still can remember all the things that I wanna share though. And it's gonna be so full of words :O

So recently I fell ill. Since Thursday. Ni Yi and I was supposed to go camping that night, but the rain and nanny stopped me from going. Somewhat unfortunate that we couldn't go but fortunate that I could rest. I couldn't find a thermometer, so I didn't measure my temperature even though I feel warm and had headache. I just took Panadol and tried to go to sleep. I woke up in the middle of the night several times, breaking into cold sweat. And the next morning, I was still feverish and had headache.

But I was eager to send my laptop for repair as I was afraid that if I drag any longer, I might not get back my laptop before I go back to Indo. So the staff there told me about 5 working days. I was thinking... Whoa how am I gonna survive without my laptop for almost a week. Haha. Turns out I received a message on that very evening to tell me that the servicing is done and I can collect my laptop.

It was good that I didn't have my laptop that night anyway. I got to read the book that I borrowed from the Library and talk to Wen Yi as she lamented about certain stuffs too. Yep, no distractions from lappie.

That night I found a thermometer at home and I measured and it was about 38.4, so I just thought I could sleep it over and I'll be fine. True enough, I was fine the next morning (Saturday)! I was happy because I really wanted to help Dagu and Uncle John with the Popiah party/gathering. Staying at home was almost like an unpleasant thing especially for the past few days, having an old hag (nanny) breathing down my neck all the time.

Nagging about not doing anything at home, waking up late (she considers 8plus 9 to be by the way), every time I need someone to wake me up, I'm like an old cow, I keep going out, I go out and come back late at night etc

So escaping to Dagu's place was really an attractive option. I like it there because Dagu and Uncle John treats me like I'm their daughter and show me a lot more concern than anyone in my family.

Anyway, they know that I was sick the previous day, so they allowed me to do the simpler task like remove the roots of the beansprouts ._. Ahh that's like the easier but most boring job. Haha. Oh well still did it in the end. Then helped to chop things up, stir fry the raddish for popiah etc. But early afternoon, I started to feel unwell again. But I really wanted to stay to help out till the other relatives come, so I just tolerated as much as I can. Uncle John also invited Ni Yi! Haha. So he was there at 5 plus and he helped out a bit too before the other relatives arrive.

Many people came for the gathering! It was nice seeing the whole house being packed with people. Haha and many relatives recognised and remembered me too :)

Hope he didn't feel too awkz because he doesn't know anyone there except me :O But really thankful that he was around. Both of us left the gathering earlier because I felt unwell and there was no seat for me to sit down and rest. When I was about to reach home, I realised I left my phone at Dagu's place!! So we went all the way back to retrieve my phone. Ni Yi offered to help get my phone though, but I insisted on taking together. Haha because I was feeling so unwell, I was just kept whining to Ni Yi all the way :/

I'm really annoying when I'm sick :/ But I guess I only do that to Ni Yi. I'll start complaining about lots of things, whine that I wanna kill everyone if ___ etc etc.

Anyway when we reached Dagu's place again to get my phone, Dagu suggested that I go to the doctors. So yep.. Went to google for 24hr clinic and we found one. Thought it was nearby but it turns out that it was quite a bit of distance.. Omggg so walk and complain and whine. That's me *guilty*. Finally, found the clinic and guess what..!! Consultation alone costs $55 :O So we left the clinic without getting me checked.

But when I reached home, nanny scold me for coming home late. Sigh, I don't know but I was angry as I messaged Ni Yi to tell him about it. And I took my temperature and it was 39.6. Like holy crap?! I don't even know when's the last time I had such a high fever. It could be because I was angry and that's why my fever rose so much.

When Ni Yi told his dad about it, I was asked to see a doctor immediately because my fever was so high. And you know whattttt.. Ni Yi's dad and him drove all the way to my house to pick me up to send me to the clinic. It was already 11+PM D:

ARGH. My first meeting with his dad and I'm already troubling him?!! D: Sighpie.

But I'm so so so thankful for their concern D: And Ni Yi was always by my side, never complaining about my annoyance and whining. I'm really blessed to have such a caring boyfie T.T and he's always there for me whenever I need D: Sigh.

I'm very unfit eh? I'm falling sick quite often :/

Anyway, going to the clinic at such a late timing is really super expensive. All in all, I spent $104 for consultation + medications :O The most expensive visit.. Omg.

Laos Recce Trip + BKK!

Woohoo! It was a chillax and fun trip :) I enjoyed it very much, except for the weather. It's like 1000000 times hotter than Singapore. This trip also made me appreciate even more things I have in Singapore. Eg. The convenience to go to various places in Singapore, the fact that I might not need to walk so much to get to my destination because I can take public transport which connects even to the more ulu areas and the weather.

Although Singapore is humid, but it's not as hot as in Laos. Plus there's some wind here! I think there's like almost none in Laos. So it was really hot, with the sun is blasting its rays onto you.

We also met other NUS/NTU teams there! Peter was also coordinating their trip. Haha feels good to see other fellow Singaporeans there. But I'm just thinking.. Poor things. They have to endure this heat ._. I'm so thankful Hak goes at the end of the year cuz it's cold and nice!! ^^

We met and talked/tried to talk to many teachers there and found out things which are hopefully relevant to our project! Pretty excited about how Hak 14 will go :) We also played with our kids at Hin Heub Neua Primary School! Ahh I miss those little kiddies. They're still so adobz. Haha but I think our P2 kids have gotten a bit shy when they see me. AND THEY STILL REMEMBER ME! T.T Haha and the English teacher said to us 'They always think of you.' Awwww :)

I honestly never expected myself to miss the kids, considering how naughty they were last year and I felt so much like leaving. But I actually do miss them :) And 3 kids offered my chocolates which they bought from their mini tuck shop. They're really sweet and I'm touched!

BKK was awesome too! Except for the weather of course. Shopped quite a bit, pretty satisfied with the things I bought :) But I really wanted more dresses though..! The tom yam soup there is so damn good! Then on the last day, we took train to the airport. Haha it's always exciting to take public transport overseas. Oh we took a short train ride from Thanaleng to Nong Khai and sleeper train from Nong Khai to Bkk! The bed is very comfy. Hahaha :D I love the train ride! ^^

This is taken during the ride from Thanaleng to Nong Khai station. It's like crossing the Causeway, just that it's Lao to Thai border this time :)

We took a train from the station near our hotel to the Suvarnabhumi Airport! The train is pretty nice, just that the seat length is short (butt area) and hence you kinda have to sit up real straight. Can ya imagine? Haha.

After coming back from recce trip, went out with Ni Yi occasionally. So Tuesday, we were out for some ice cream nearby TJ! Then he wanted to visit TJ, so I reluctantly brought him to TJ. Hahahha lied to the security guards that we're visiting teachers and Ni Yi's not even a student there ._. But anyway, so glad we went TJ! Cuz Jasper, Joshua and Lim Pin were still in school/working when we got there at late 3 plus. Haha I intro-ed them to Ni Yi and vice versa and had a great chat. Laugh until my stomach pain. Hahaha. It was fun :)

Okay that's about it!

Wheee~ My loot from BKK! Plus a pair of sandals and some hair tie!
