I am satisfied with the results here for East Coast GRC!! Haha :D

Friday night was quite a fun one. Xiaogu and I were catching the results news and we just kept commenting back and forth about what the candidates said etc. It was fun :3 I don't think I've ever done this with xiaogu before. HAHA.

Before that, I went to The Ramen Stall with Ni Yi to have dinner. That stooooopid dude, haish, always so busy. No time for me. Supposed to have a whole day date with him, but ended up we only met for dinner. Because he had so many excuses - family haven't go voting, he has to think of ideas for his assignment etc. Really "chu pattern" duo duo.

I know I know I should be more understanding... But then... I was really sad that we couldn't spend the free day we had together. Nan de I got the whole weekday without work. Maybe I'm only the one who's always excited about spending time with him.

Sometimes I feel stupid la. Because I'm the only one feeling this way right?

But what to do? I can't stop my heart from looking forward to seeing him.

I was really unhappy with him for a long time when we met. And then, he kept asking me to help him think of idea (for his module). Kept bugging and bugging me, rejecting my idea, uninterested in my idea and then bug me again and again. Basically bug me again and again. Argh. Got so fed up!!!! I think I was really very very very very annoyed and I was being annoying that night too. I don't know how he could stand me honestly. I stayed irritated until towards the end of the dinner then I felt much better and decided to let it go. Petty, aren't I? Ikr.. #rantsabouttheboyfie

Anyway, the food was not bad. I like the Volcano Ramen! But waiting time.... Ultra long. Due to overwhelming number of customers and the lack of staff. LOL. Had to ask 3 times before we could get ice water and our extra noodles. Anyway, the food voucher expired that night, and I guess everyone's voucher also expired that day, so we overheard some customers saying that they came because the voucher was expiring. Haha.

Yesterday, I had dress rehearsal for today's church service. Yup, this is where I stand, kinda back stage, together with the organist.

My performance during rehearsal was better than today I think :( Sighpie.

Gonna have another performance in October! I must jiayou and not disappoint again! Today my violin mate couldn't attend class, so I had my teacher go through the song, that I'm playing in October, with me. I tried it out the other day but I really cmi because there were a lot of change positions and high notes to play. So yea, had to qing jiao my teacher. Hope it'll turn out well when I practise more!

Hello! It's gonna be a long update post! Pardon me.
Maybe I should blog more often.

In general, work has been getting better for me. I'm getting better at having instructional control over the girl that I'm taking now :) And I think my boss starts to trust me more with her too. I think? Haha. I must have more confidence in myself!

Oh yea, I bought new phone covers recently. They're kawaii right :3

Talking about kawaii...

22 Aug
Just quite recently, there was a Japanese MATSURI! At the Japanese School near Tanah Merah. Ahh my first time going to a Japanese festival! I really wanted to experience what it feels like to go to a Japanese festival. So I dragged Ni Yi to go with me. Unfortunately by the time we got there, all the yukatas were rented out already. Boohoo. Haha I read online that wearing the yukata will make you have more feelz. HAHA. But yea it's okay. I had quite an enjoyable time there. Girls were so pretty and kawaii in yukatas *inserts smiley with heart-shaped eyes x3* Haha.

 Game stalls!

Bon Odori and then a mass dance session which was fun! Haha

23 Aug
Finally I get to meet Nic & SY too! We went for an ultra cheap ice cream buffet. We chatted about work, finding work, internship etc. Nic was sick the last time we were supposed to meet so I haven't seen him in a long long time. We're gonna meet next Monday too! Yippee :)

26 Aug
One of the weekdays, my colleagues and I went out for dinner! Haha I like how we're quite a close knitted group because there's only 4 of us in the centre... Boss and 3 of us. Dinner that night was just the three of us though. Teehee.

And we ate SO MUCH GYOZAS! The steamed gyozas are super nice! I loved it more than the fried ones. We were at Gyoza-ya at ION. Then we headed to Marmalade Pantry for some dessert. One of the staff who served us was hilarious. Haha. Keep joking around.. I didn't know people could actually order "piping hot" coffee. Hotter than boiling hot? Lol! I don't know man. Hahaha.

28 Aug
Ni Yi and I went to catch some night lights from the night lights festival too. I liked the animation that was screened "on" the walls of the national museum. Haha it was uber cute. We visited the National Design Centre too. It was really cool to see very interesting exhibitions. People's creativity is really limitless. Sometimes I feel like where the hell did my creativity go? I was very impressed by this exhibit which plays with shadows. So there are erasers and torchlights. When you switch on the torchlight and move it back and forth or left and right, then you'll be able to see Singapore's skyscrapers created by the shadows of the erasers. Really cool!

 Some light thingy at NDC!

Ohoh and this thingy is really cool too. So you can tell the person at the counter a word and who you want to dedicate the poem to, and then these people in red jumpsuits (in the picture) will write a poem for you. Wow. Overflowing creative juices. Won't they have a writers block or something?! Super amazing.

29 Sept
Chings and I helped out with the FASS Awards Ceremony! Ahhh so many people obtained all kinds
of awards that I've never even heard of. Haha. So many brilliant students in FASS. We also get to watch Stephen Lim perform on the piano too! He duet with another lecturer (I think?)!

After that, I went shopping at a warehouse with Wenz! I bought a dress, top and shorts for $22 in total! ^^ Whoop for being cheap!

1 Sept
Met the CAPT peeps finally again! Hehe I always like meeting them. It's always fun. Haha so our beloved Abi is teng teng teng teng (ask me if you're interested hahahha). Our topics centred around work and school and relationships this time! Hope to meet them more :) We had dinner at the new restaurant/bistro in UTown! The food is not bad. Then we headed to Bing Bing to have some ice cream. Oh their mao shan wang ice cream is really not bad!

Angry people while waiting for the rest to arrive!

Abigail's artistic shot of me, she says. HAHA

I don't understand what's with the bread! HAHAHAHA. Is that supposed to be "bao?"

Us + Cherie! We met her at Bing Bing! Haha CAPT people unite :)

3 Sept
I INJURED MY RIGHT PINKY. It was a stupid accident.
Left picture is my right hand actually. Red and swollen. Rawr. It really hurts dogs and cats and mouse..!

8 Sept

Went to catch Live! Jukebox at Esplanade Recital Hall with Ni Yi. DA MOST AMAZING RECITAL I'VE BEEN TO! The musicians were Abigail Sin (Pianist), Loh Jun Hong (Violinist) and Gabriel NG (Violinist). They played so beautifully! I preferred the pieces that Gabriel played though! They sounded more fun! I also liked his playing style more. It feels like he expresses more in his notes. But anyway, all three of them were awesome maxxxxx. Withdrawal symptoms from that recital! The concept that they adopted for this concert was rather interesting too.

As the name suggests, it is a live jukebox! The audience gets to choose what songs we want them to play. So there were 21 songs which we could choose from. You see in the picture above, there's a number on the bottom left hand corner. Mine was 19. There's this bingo ball machine, once rolled, a numbered ball will roll out of the machine. And if your number is being called out, you can choose a song from the programme list. Ni Yi's number got called! HAHA. First one some more. On the programme list, the name of the classical piece is not listed, but names which the musicians thought of that are fitting for each piece were listed instead. So there's quite a lot of surprise factor.

THAT SAID, GABRIEL PLAYED MY EXAM PIECE!! Melodie by Tchaikovsky! OMGZXASDFZXASDFFDSAZXXASDF. Honestly I teared while listening to him play it! Super duper nice. Compared to me. Okay, what is there to even compare in the first place. HAHA two different worlds.

Wish I could attend another of their recital!

9 Sept
I had practice at church. I was a burden. I did practise the songs before hand but they played much faster so I couldn't keep up. Sighpie. Practice ended super early so I stayed back at the chapel to practise. I think I more or less got it! There's practise tomorrow and I really don't want to be a burden anymore!

11 Sept
Today's polling day! Omg. GE for me this time is different from the last. I didn't care a shit about politics etc in GE2011. I don't know why but I find myself catching up with the GE news this year. Although I don't get to vote, I'm really excited about the outcome of this election especially for East Coast GRC - that's the GRC my house is under. It was a close match in the last GE between PAP and WP. I wonder what it'll be like this time! I'm surely gonna stay awake for results tonight :)
