MUCH NEEDED LUCK! Interview is tomorrow and I really need and want this job! Gotta gather allllllll the luck I can get in this world. And knowledge too. And talking skills too. And thinking-on-my-feet skills too. And smiles too.

And confidence too.

Hi, I'm back to give an update on my To-do list. It doesn't look good at all.

To do list:
1. Travel blog theme
2. Do my first Indo post
3. Edit photos
4. Look (and maybe apply) for part-time work (Looked but did not apply for any)
5. Look and apply for relevant volunteering opportunity (Done)
6. Make post cards with past photos
7. Make more stamps
8. Prepare for interview (Doing)
9. Check out relevant courses which I can go for (Checked on some courses but I don't think I'll be applying them - should I look for more?)

LOL Out of so many things and only one completely done. I highly doubt I'll be doing any of the rest in the upcoming week because I really wanna focus on preparing for my interview. I REALLY NEED THIS JOB! PRAYING HARD THAT I WILL ACE DIZZ

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyways, Saturday was our monthsary and we went to ACM for the Joseon Korea Exhibition! We wanted to see the children exhibition at the National Gallery too but the queues were long so we headed to Bugis for an early dinner @ BBQ Box! The food was not bad but the BBQ box that they provided us with to barbeque our food (more like heat up the food) was just pathetic. Hahahahha two tea candles in the box being expected to heat up all the food that we ordered hah. Of course not. Nonetheless, the marinate for the bbq sticks were yummz!

After dinner, we shopped a bit in Bugis area before heading to the huge huge IKEA & GIANT at Tampines! My favourite place on earth! It was 9pm when we left Bugis I think. I was surprised that NY was okay with going to Tampines because usually we wouldn't be changing our hangout area after 9pm haha. It took us almost an hour to get to IKEA from Bugis.

I'm so glad we did anyway. It was a lot of fun looking at the showrooms together, thinking about the kind of furniture we would like to have next time and in our own rooms now, just window shopping and spending time together! It was also nice to see lots of families in IKEA and Giant even though it was pretty late, like 11pm? Young kids should be in bed by 10pm HAHAHA. I would love to bring my kids out for late night shopping next time too. Giant closes at 2am on Saturdays so we actually hanged-out till 1.30am before cabbing home!

Salad for lunch!

Sunday was Father's Day! Our family doesn't really celebrate occasions like this and this year I wanted it to be different. I wanted to cook for my dad. He wasn't around in the morning and afternoon, but once he came back, I went to his room and told him about my plan.

Me: 爸,等下我煮晚餐给爸爸
Dad: *frowns* 等下我自己出去吃
Me: Huh 爸不要出去,我煮!

And quickly left his room. I was quite proud of myself for being able to tell him that in fact! But... My dad disappointed me. He left the house for dinner while I was preparing the dinner in the kitchen.

I was sad and disappointed and wondered if it was so hard for him to graciously accept my 心意?

Some days I dream of having awesome relationships with my parents. Some days I envy friends who have friendly relationships with their parents. Some days I envy friends who have quarrels with their parents over stupid or lame things.

But, relationships aren't one-sided things.

So yep, there I was eating the dinner myself. It was yummy.

Soup & Carrot Egg for dinner!

And thankful to my dearest Nini for willing to meet me for lunch the next day to eat the leftover that my dad didn't eat. Much loves!

HI! BACK FROM A 2+MONTHS HIATUS.

It's been a month since my internship ended and I'm back to bumming around. I have too many things that I want to do but I don't even know where to begin? As I try to do everything (without proper plan or whatsoever), I end up not doing anything.

Lemme list them down here, and I'll see how I can get myself organised.

To do list:
1. Travel blog theme
2. Do my first Indo post
3. Edit photos
4. Look (and maybe apply) for part-time work
5. Look and apply for relevant volunteering opportunity
6. Make post cards with past photos
7. Make more stamps
8. Prepare for interview
9. Check out relevant courses which I can go for

Help me help myself get a grip of myself 😢😢😢

And I should check back on my progress in a week's time.
